Across the east coast of the Peloponnese by car

If you have your own car or decide to rent one, we recommend a trip across the east coast of the Peloponnese. Starting from Tolo you will go pass some beautiful sea side towns and villages such as Mili, Kiveri, Astros, Paralia Tirou, Leonidion and Plaka where you can enjoy a lunch with fresh fish in the small fishing port. If you continue further south you will get to Monemvasia. This is a huge rock-island connected to the mainland with a narrow bridge. This  island had been used as  a fortress since the middle ages. In our days, you will find a number of Byzantine churches. Walk  around the narrow streets of the castle and see the Venetian monuments and the traditional houses while enjoying the views of the sea. On the island there is also a small museum with a collection of Frankish and Byzantine sculpture.

This was a wonderful hotel for my group of 41 travelers. Very clean, quiet, and friendly staff. The breakfast was outstanding and WiFi service was convenient. The staff is amazing. It's an easy walk to the beach and the pool is beautiful. Highly recommend!
